Control of fast operating parts with magnetic tags

This advanced technology is based on new magnetic sensing systems characterized by resonant readout. Very small magnetic tags can be embedded into objects to estimate their position and/or their relative speed. This approach provides to monitor rapid movements of objects in production chains in order to follow the correct operation of the machines or of the handling of the associated mechanical devices. The tags are followed with great precision by magnetic sensors based on resonant sensing (NOT Hall sensors or similar). The great advantage of these systems is the strong immunity to: 1) water and moisture 2) the environment dirty and 3) the electromagnetic noise of the production areas.
